Dai Viet restaurant
Vietnamese Restaurant in Wanstead
Despite arriving late from a reservation booked and with a crying baby in tow, the staff was very accommodating. The interior was amazing and the detail to bring the whole authentic vibe of the Vietnamese culture was spot on.
Service was fast, no problem with communication and the food was simply delicious. I've been to many Vietnamese restaurants and i must say this is by far the best so far. The sauted lobster, the scallops, the grilled venison, the grilled mince beef wrapped in sapu leaves, pho was full of flavor and all the meat was very very tender and juicy.
Definitely coming bac
A great restaurant with fabulous food and fantastic service.
I took my family here for mother's day and we had a great time. We will definitely be coming back again. The staff were friendly, attentive and made some great recommendations. The food was very impressive and we highly recommend the lamb hotpot.
I would not hesitate to recommend this restaurant to my friends and family.
Good Food and great atmosphere, food and wine more individual and interesting than before, service a bit slow but nice people and a distinct improvement. We will be going again with our friends as we all enjoyed our evening very much. Hope this keeps up and they dont do what happens so often with new places after a while the standard drops. Well worth trying now!

Under new management, nicely refurbished, cosy atmosphere, the shop sign needs to be brightened up during the night since almost missed the place. Literally right outside wanstead station which is a plus for getting to but car park and steet parking is closeby great traditional vietnamese food and friendly staff, definitely go back.
