Best Nigerian food experience since I became a London Based Nigerian.

Took a couple of colleagues to try out the Nigerian beverages one Friday night, they tried the food......

We have been having Friday dinners every week since then. You won't know until u try it.

I was driving through Lewisham to get to Catford for a meal and I pass by this place called Enish Nigerian restaurant and Grill. I am a bit sceptical to try a new place but I assume you can't go wrong with a Nigerian restaurant that has the décor of Central London restaurant. I am so glad I took the chance because the food tasted awesome. The presentation of the dish was mind blowing. I should have taken a picture of the food but I was too eager to taste the food. I got some of the restaurant pictures from the owner. I am really proud to be Nigerian!

I've dined at Enish a couple times wit friends and the experience has been nothing short of excellent. The meals are well presented and the taste is original. To top it off the ambience is relaxed and a superior customer service. My favorite dish is the grilled tillapia (I liked it a lil spicy) an original Nigerian taste!

I visited Enish for a birthday - the owners have done a good job of designing the interior and the atmosphere is certainly pleasant.

Being inexperienced with Nigerian food we asked the server (who was really friendly) to explain some of the menu. Unfortunately she didn't seem to know anything about food & we were left just as confused as when we asked.

Alas, the dishes were universally disappointing; the absolute cheapest, most overcooked cuts of meat you could possibly imagine and red wine that I honestly wouldn't even cook with. I had high hopes, but they have been severely dashed.

We had a small dinner-party there last night.
We all left very disappointed.
Food was of poor quality and well overpriced, Jollof rice I had ordered arrived with two small pieces of chicken and 3 slices of aubergine. Simply not enough and just laughable.
Wine we have ordered - cost £17.50 and it is the cheapest wine you can get from low quality store. We have run the check on it and its retail price is just over £3 (!) This leaves noting to add.
From the plus - nice décor.

Nice decor and well located. When we arrived it was not busy, with just 2 other tables occupied. Ordering drinks took a bit longer than expected, and even longer to order the food - I had to go and find the waiter after waiting for half an hour. We Ordered grilled tilapia and a meat stew with egusi sauce. The tilapia was tasteless, the meat stew was totally off and we just had to abandon the meal. Talking to the manager was pointless as he insisted that it was all down to the spices etc. and they still insisted on full payment! Very disappointing,I don't intend to visit again
