The Palomar restaurant in the heart of Theatreland is anything but a tourist trap; this is exquisitely prepared, modern, exciting food brought to you from the streets of Jerusalem. The restaurant\'s Israeli chefs have brought their success and experience from Jerusalem\'s Machneyuda restaurant to London, and have teamed up with local nightlife experts to create this new offering which surely is a wonderful enrichment of London\'s drinking and dining scene; small as it is with just forty covers, Palomar is something new and fresh and is already as tough as anywhere to get a table at.
The restaurant suggests that you make a reservation if you wish to eat in the dining room (and in all honesty don't bother turning up without one!), but the Kitchen Bar is left for walk-in guests, so there's always hope :-)

We booked this just before it got trendy, and good job we did as I don't think we'd get a table this side of Christmas at the moment. It's a tiny restaurant with only 10 tables, but it's so good. Similar in style and flavours to Nopi, although both are still distinct from each other and individually brilliant. I love this place and would come every day if it were an option.
