Mark Hix's new chicken and steak restaurant is set to open this Summer just a short walk from Tate Modern and Borough Market, in what was originally a Victorian tin box printing factory.
Hixter builds on the success of Tramshed in Shoreditch where diners can order a whole roast chicken or steaks of 250 and 500g to share. The restaurant will feature Tracey Emin-designed neon signage and a show-stopping artwork from Tim Noble and Sue Webster.
There will be a Mark's Bar situated below the restaurant in the basement, with a cocktail menu championing new and established British drinks producers and an extensive list of hand-crafted cocktails.
