Primeur

Primeur, meaning greengrocer in French - although we're sure you don't need us to tell you that ;-) is a new restaurant on the Hackney-Islington borders offering a counter and communal dining experience. It's 40 covers are available for walk-ins or those who book in person only, and are served up with honest food, a very drinkable cellar and a room full of people to share both with. This is the first independent venture from Jem Cometto-Lingenheim and David Gingell who met when they both worked at Wright Brothers in Soho.
