Went there last night with my wife. It was a warm night so all the bars and restaurants on the river were absolutely packed. Tentazioni still had a few tables available, I was amazed (and a bit worried). This was the third time I have been and I was once again very impressed. To me, this is the best Italian restaurant in London. Food is excellent, service is attentive and the restaurant is very intimate. I had the tasting menu for £41 (excl wine) and this is a 2.5 hour Italian culinary experience. If you decide to take this, try to not eat too much bread, because the dishes are not small and you will want to eat everything! Highly recommended.

Opened one Monday especially for a table of three of us for my birthday, was fresh food, fast friendly but professional service. Set menus for around £12 for two course or around £16 for three. Fresh rosemary bread with good olive oil to start then delicious starters; gnocchi was beautiful in a thyme and cheese sauce, pasta dishes traditional. My main of breaded seabass was unusual cooked perfectly and seasonsed to perfection. House white for £12 a bottle was amazing quality. SO impressed I went back for dinner a few nights later to be impressed with a fresh menu; bean soup with poached egg and parmasan to start and pork with cheese mash and green beans, my desciptions do not do it justice. If you are going to the shad thames skip the tourist trap expensive restaurants on the water front. instead have a beer there and head to this quaint and lovely place.
