Yotam Ottolenghi has taken the London dining scene by surprise and by storm with the huge popularity of his fresh, sunny, Mediterranean-influenced dishes inspired by his and his team's Palestinian and Israeli heritage.

The Islington branch is the largest of the Ottolenghi's delis and is also a proper restaurant with 50 covers. Dishes are served all day to communal and some individual tables and can be reserved in the evenings, although not during the day. It's a busy pre-theatre dinner restaurant serving the Almeida Theatre clientele just opposite.
