We are a Malaysian Chinese couple and went to Good Morning Vietnam thinking it would serve Vietnamese food. When we got there, we saw the menu and realised there were only about about 5 Vietnamese dishes. Chicken or beef lemongras, Beef noodles, spring rolls, prawn on bamboo. Thats it! Everything else was your typical cheap Hong Kong fast food diner. I asked the waitress why does your sign say Good morning Vietnam, but you have only 5 dishes Vina food? She said cuz we all here Chinese not Vietnamese. Still, I ordered the beef noodles in soup, which was a major disappointment! My husband ordered noodles with veg. It was over cooked and burnt. Also ordered eggs with mushrooms which was ok. As food was cheap, I ordered tofu with veg see if it would get better and told them not to overcook my veg. Again major disappointments. If you looking for cheap below average Chinese, and not worried about taste or quality, come here. If you prefer something where restaurants care about their cooking, go somewhere else. Im Chinese and big foodie with my husband. This place is cheap, but still lousy value for money due to bad chef and bad food. It certainly wasnt Vina food either! Big disappointment!

Good food, quick service and very well priced.
The fried squid is a must have, so is the hot n sour soup.
I normally have 2 portions of squid because its soooo good.
Nice people serving too.

Only eat the beef noodle soup and their fried squid starter, must branch out but they are both so good.

Superb starters but the main course was a little disappointing. Perhaps it was just my choice, but I had stir fried chicken with vegetables and the chicken was okay but just didn’t seem right like it was processed in some way.

That said, it’s worth going just for the Vietnamese Hot & Sour Soup I had as a starter. I have never had better.
