I have been a devotee of Kulu Kulu for about 8 years. I think it offers some of the best sushi in London. Far cheaper than Yo! or Itsu, and infinitely better than both, this restaurant is a real gastro gem. I have eaten at Nobu, Koi and a number of other high-end sushi restaurants. I have also spent time in Japan where I ate sushi every day. And, I have to say that Kulu Kulu holds its own up against this mighty competition.
In terms of value-for-money and quality, KK is unbeatable.
And the prawn tempura, salmon and avocado temaki (hand rolls) are probably my favourite thing to eat EVER.

LOVE this restaurant. Excellent sushi, tempura prawn handrolls are heaven and staff are friendly and efficient too. Perfect place for a quick and easy in and out dinner.

Their sushi is delicious.

The main concern of the restaurant
is the sushi - not the decor, not the service. You feel that all your money goes to the essential: the food.

You are seated at a bar, and the plates with different declicous kinds of sushi go bye and you choose. There are many kinds of sushi and they are served on six kinds of plates, which indicate the price of the dish.

You may need to wait a bit until you get a set. But it is well worth waiting.
