Chose the restaurant without any recommendation. The choice was a very good one. We had good service and tasty food at reasonable prices. The restaurant was quite busy but had a good atmosphere. Would eat there again.

In June my friend and I were in London with 4 granschildren ranging in age from 12 to 16. We attemped to dine at the Hard Rock Cafe but the wati was 2 hours. Not so much. So we started back through the neighborhood looking for some place suitable for the bunch. Within a few blocks we arrived at Prezzo. It was fabulous. The staff welcomed us, set up a table for 6 and we ordered. Excellent childrens menu. I ordered the best chicken pasta that has ever passed my lips. I had a goat cheese starter that was to die for. Loved the place and send all my clients.

Tried to go to this restaurant last Sunday for lunch but had a terrible experience. The restaurant had its street sign out advertising its food and its front door was open at 11:55am (there was no sign in the window to say when it opened). As it looked open, our party of four went in and stood waiting to be seated. A minute later, a very angry woman in her 50s (the manager) came out and basically told us to leave as the restaurant didn't open until midday. It was about 11:57am at this stage. We said we were sorry - the door was open and thought it was open. She angrily continued to tell us it wasn't open and we should come back at midday (ie, three minutes later). We went elsewhere.

For me, this is the most friendly and welcoming restaurant in Mayfair. I can even take my 4 year old son, they are wonderful with children, even though they dont specifically cater for children. The food is delicious, and so reasonable, and there is a great selection of wines. The staff are always friendly. I would eat there again without hesitation.
