I love this place! Its tucked away down some steps on Kensington High Street and the restaurant itself is a bit cave like!! Its cheap and the food is excellent, really tasty and very authentic.

After hearing about Papaya Tree from a review by Michael Winner, we thought we should try it out. What a little gem it was. Neatly tucked away in Kensington Highstreet, this little place produced an exquisite and varied selection of authentic Thai dishes, just as I had on my recent trip to Thailand. I like my dishes Hot and I was not disappointed. The friendly manager was spot on his recommendations for dishes, and the food was served quickly. This trendy little place was full of life, and I will certainly make this my regular for Thai food.

I have been to quite a few Thai restaurants but eating at the Papaya was a lovely experience. The service was excellent, the ambience was exquisite and tranquil and the food was fabulous. The starter of Tempura prawns were cooked to perfection and easily the best prawns i have ever tasted.

Great price especially for lunch from £5-£7 per dish.
Friendly and cozy atmosphere.
Tasty food, authentic Thai cuisine. I know it as I'm Thai.

Very disappointed when we were there with my family. Would not dine there again as the dishes offered simply did not reflect thai cuisine neither did it offer value for money. Noodles came a little cold. Papaya Tree rice wasn't any different from the normal fried rice nothing ACCURATE about its menu description as to what it's suppose to come with. Be warned about the Thai Jungle Curry and Tom YUm soup

My friend and I had a really nice meal here, menu is interesting and our food was very tasty. I had a pork dish with lime and chilli that was delicious. Service was really good too - definitely recommended.
