THE rudest manager I have EVER come across.

Having booked a table for 6.30-7 (with email confirmation to prove it) we turned up on Saturday at 7 to find the place wasn't even open and doesn't actually open until 7 anyway...why they told us that time for the booking I have no idea! When we turned up there were staff waiting outside and nothing happening inside, nothing set up at all.

We went to Ortega (fantastic service) to get a drink whilst waiting for it to open/deciding what to do as there were 12 of us and not easy to get a table somewhere else at such short notice. Mr Manager finally turned up so I went to speak to him to very politely request whether he could offer us a discount/some free drinks for the delay and to cheer the dissenters up (some of the group were threatening mutiny at this point) as I still wanted to go there. To which the manager replied 'if you hadn't asked for one then I would have given you a discount'. Hmmmmm, well Mr Manager you lost the business of 12 people and we went and spent £250 in Ortegas instead (who were brilliant by the way) whilst you and your staff sat outside Beduin serving noone and losing money. I would like to think you might lose the attitude in future but I doubt it.

Avoid like the plague, manners cost nothing Mr Manager!

I went to Beduin last Friday for my sister's birthday. The service was appalling. Not only did the bouncer insist that we pay £5 each time we went out for a cigarette but even the Manager was very rude to us saying that we can either pay or leave. Provided that we spent £1500 that night, it felt both shocking and frustrating that we had to pay extra charges that are not applied in other places. Also, when we got the food, it was cold and the waitress refused to heat it up or change it. You would definitly expect more value for your money. I wouldn't go there if I were you.
