We went for the steak but what a disappointment, the beef is so tough the knives would not even cut through the meat and trying to chew it was almost impossible! Only go if you fancy a mediocre buffet and chicken wings....

My Wife has eaten here several times & highly recommended it to me.
So I turned up with a group of about 30; Unphased the staff set about serving us in a polite friendly & highly professional manner. The DIY buffet sides were marvellous, a dozen or more tasty platters of South American delicacies, various salads and canopies; the meat was unlimited, and how I wish I still had the appetite of my youth.
Skewers of spicy chicken sausage, delicate chicken hearts, mouth watering wings, succulent steaks, soft melt in the mouth beef ribs, and juicy hunks of sweet pork (sorry rabbi).
The tantalising odours from the multi tiered grill kept wafting over, and no matter how much we stuffed ourselves we wanted more. This is a well managed eatery with a slow laid back ambiance and great service. The fixed price and genuine all you can eat menu means no nasty surprises when the bill is presented.
For my large group we paid £800, they threw in a dozen bottles of wine & we had a few more drinks, that worked out at £27 per head…Now that is superb value for money, especially considering restaurant prices in Upper Street.
The only downside is the lighting, much too dim for these old eyes.

Really different way of eating. I've been to this branch and the one in Kensington and both times i was impressed. Chicken hearts are much yummier than they sound and the rest of the meat is perfectly cooked and plentiful. Vegetables and sides aren't great as the focus in on the great red meat. Not a place for vegetarians or people on a very tight budget! But great for anyone who likes an energetic eating experience!

Fantastic food, great value and would certainly go there again.
Good quality meat brought round all through the evening (as well as some rather more delicate tastes such as chicken hearts!), and you certainly won't go hungry.
Great salad bar as well.
I'll definitely go back there!

Booked a table for 25 people in order to celebrate a 30th birthday. Was told that we had a sitting between 7 and 9. Everybody was having a good time with nice food and atmoshpere. However, the mood was slightly soured by the maitre d who hassled us to leave at 8.50 despite only presenting us with the bill 2 mins before. The waiters were very patient with us but the maitre d's attitude was unforgivable and spolit what was a thoroughly enjoyable evening.
