Sale E Pepe

I lived in London for 5 years in the late 70's and 80's and I dined at Sale E Pepe at least once a week. Lunch at Sale E Pepe and then food shopping at Harrods. I love it and has been just as great every time I have come back. This year when I come back it will be my first meal. London has great food but this place has great food and is fun. Jim Brady

My wife and I come to London from Bedfordshire to dine and go to the theatre regularly and we would not miss going to Sale E Pepe
The food is excellent as is the service, Don't be put off by some people's negative comments.
I guarantee a realy first class meal and promise you will return more than once.

We have been eating at Sale e pepe for nearly 20 years and the food and service is always outstanding. Please do not be put off by the negative comment below as the poor gentleman clearly does not know quality when he is presented with it......

Just reading the last review I am in shock. I visited Sale E pepe a month ago and the food was extremely nice, the waiters were very polite charismatic and funny. I eat out regularly in nice restaurants and this is now one of my favourites.

This restaurant is definitely worth a visit. in fact I am going back next week :)

As an Italian living in London I am always looking to find a good Italian restaurant. So I gave Sale e pepe a try. This place is just a tourist trap, food is average and the manager is extremely irritating. Singing loud and shouting out loud is all what he does. I have never seen something like that, not even in the cheapest pizzeria and surely never in Italy. If you do not know anything about good food and have never been to Italy and think that Italians are all crazy and want to take you for a ride than this is the place for you. If you like good food and a nice atmosphere, well, the go somewhere else !
