As much as I always try to be as fair as possible when writing a comment, I cannot possibly praise this restaurant, except for the low cost of the experience and that IS probably where the problems are.
There is nothing much French there, not the owner, nor the staff, although they were sweet,at least it did make you forget their lack of experience. It is cheap, some would same good value, but what can one possibly offer for less than £10.00 nowadays, not much and not much it was.
It would have been great if what they gave you was good quality, but it was not,it would have been great if they cared, but they did not, if they did they would not serve you,but judging by the amount of people coming through the door, one could assume that the only attraction there is the price..would you be ready to compromise a decent meal for little money? i thought i could,my mistake,i should not have.
The place is hardly clean,i went to W.C,and prayed that the kitchen was cleaner..
Very sorry, but not good !! I hate writing unflattering comments but the truth is always better.

A very enjoyable eating experience of eatin French food. Surroundings of a bistro type and cosy atmosphere as the restaurant is quite small especially upstairs!

Staff attentive and seemed rushed off their feet but courteous and friendly. Good choice of wine and food rustic yet well set out on the plate. The only minus I would say is some may find some of the dishes a bit salty but I suppose you could ask them to adjust it. We would go and dine there again, very pleasant.
Have your say
