The meal was a disappointment. The starter of the mixed platter for 2 was ordinary and one of the dishes for my daughter was, according to the menu, due to come with peanut sauce. When it did not arrive and was commented upon, the man serving said that he had never served the two together over many years, and then acknowledged it was on the menu. The mixed platter (for 2) was OK but not exciting.

Only 4 other people were in the restaurant but it took ages to be served. The Thai lady disappeared at this stage and, from what followed, she had taken over as the cook. The Pad Thai was boring with no taste, the duck Grappow (?) was overcooked and dry - all in all a disappointing meal.

The general service was poor. One man in the corner could not catch the waiter's eye and we had to direct the waiter across the room (twice).

We expect Thai food to be a real change in terms of taste and flavour - none of our food did either of these things

This was a surprisingly small restaurant, approx 15 tables. We got there as it opened at 17:30 and by 18:30 it was full. This was probably due to it`s reputation. (Other Thai restaurants in the area were practically empty. We checked this after we had finished our meal). On to our food. I started with the chicken Tom Yum soup. It was quite simply the best I have had. For the main course, I had the red curry with egg fried rice, and again, they were both excellent. My wife had the green curry with a noodle dish, both enjoyable, however, the noodles soon went cold as no hot plate was provided, so, be aware of this. The waiter was very efficient and curtious. We will definately be eating here again.

The best Thai restaurant in London! An itimate setting with wonderful service from extremely curtious staff who didn't pester us OR leave too long between course - the balance was just right. Combine that with melt in the mouth food and you've got yourself a perfect night out!

Delightful. Great food. Waitress was really lovely. Nice people who clearly try hard to please. They do not pretend to be 5 star but if the food was served in a top class restaurant it would be a smash hit. So we had first class food at eceonomy prices.

Simply the best night we've had in ages.
Don't be put off by the plain decor. The food is just the way we had in on holiday. They were able to adjust dishes by leaving out bamboo and fish sauce when I asked. The dishes must be freshly cooked to order. The vegetables were brightly coloured and so tastey!
Service was warm and friendly we were made to feel so welcome.
We paid just £38 for the two of us with a lovely bottle of Brouily. Fantastic.
