Very good service and attentive staff with a friendly manager. Tasty poppadoms and pickles. Shared starter was okay but bahji were a little over cooked. I had the chef special Tamarind Lamb which had a bitter taste and my colleague had a Chicken Tika Massala that was a little too creamy almost bland. Lemon and Mushroom rices were fine as was the plain nan. Kingfisher beer is on tap at a very good price. I was disappointed with the meal and having looked at the other reviews wondered whether we had a different chef. If food had been better, I would say the restaurant provides good value for money. A 10% discount are is available from their web site.

I live locally and have used Mr India consistently since I was recommended it by a friend. Great value for the money and the Chef's Specials are unique but well worth a try. If you do not like your curry too hot they will tone it down in the preparation.

Unfortunately for them it is often not busy but that does mean you are not kept waiting.

I love mr India! I've been sampling all the Indians in the w14 postcode and have concluded this is the mutt's. Wonderful cuzza!

I live locally and dine at Mr India quite often. They provide outstanding customer service, always making their best to make us feel welcome. The atmosphere is wonderful. Their food is also lovely, with an amazing indian flavour and great portions. Compared to other indian restaurants, Mr Indian is quite cheap. Great deal!

I live 10 minutes walk from this restaurant. This restaurant continualy provides fabulous meals over and over again. This is family restaurant food at its best. We have eaten in and out. Eating there with friends is a lovely experience, but we tend to get the food delivered directly to our door. The quality and consistency is as good as you can get.
Go for the lamb, succulent and tender, all the time, and pretty much the rest of the meat is as good.
Staff are great and friendly.
Try It!!

Good lunch time deal of Curry, rice or nan and side dish for £5.75.
The curries tend to be hotter than the norm, the Kormas are a mild alternative and were served with a cherry on top while the Madras was pretty hot but not uneatable.
1970s decor but nicely presented. Service was okay and we did not have to wait long to be served or for the bill (which came to £64 for six on the lunch time deal with six beers).
Main drawback was that it remained too quiet - in spite of it being a Friday lunchtime in this busy area, only two tables were taken.
Have your say
