La Porchetta

I've been to this Italian resturant in muswell hill twice and both times had a lovely meal the staff were great and came and asked us if everything was okay with are food you get good size portions I would recommend this resturant but weekends can get very busy apart from that I would defiantly visit again

Service quick and attentive, but sadly the food was cooked far too quickly (we sat by the open pizza preparation / oven area). We were served fresh pizza within 6-7 min of ordering, resulting in a soggy, doughy base and toppings that literally slid away... We both now have indigestion as it was cooked so poorly. We also had to get up to request the bill, after ten min of waiting for our waitress to return... Not a great meal.

We went to La Porchetta on a Saturday night to order a take away pizza. It was busy and the few staff seemed totally overwhelmed. For ten minutes they completely ignored us. When we asked to place an order they were incredibly rude and virtually spat at us that it would take an hour and a half. It was so wildly out of place that we just left in complete puzzlement. Such a unnecessarily unpleasant experience -- if they were too busy to handle takeaway orders, they could have just said so politely and that would have been that. Instead they clearly felt the need to be utterly appalling just to drive us out they door. They succeeded.
