I am a vegetarian, I ordered from the vegetarian menu, braised bean curd and noodles. Simple right? No, the took ages to bring the food, first they brought me the noodles, then after a twenty minute wait they brought the bean curd, with prawn meat! I asked what it was the waiter said its all vegetarian. I didn't believe him so I asked another waiter what the pinks stuff was he said its prawn meat. So it wasn't vegetarian. So i explained that i ordered vegetarian, showed them which dis I had ordered, instead of apologizing and getting the right dish, i had the manager, the head waiter and challenging me, and getting quite nasty, accusing me of not telling them that I was vegetarian, when i quite plainly had. Then the manager started to challenge the definition of vegetarian. The whole situation was disgraceful. a major London restaurant should know that vegetarians don't eat meat. Clearly a place to avoid if you are vegetarian and want to avoid an argument.
