Indiaah

I was exploring the area having walked from Elephant and Castle down Walworth Rd to Camberwell Green. Feeling ready for lunch I came upon this gem at the bottom of Denmark Hill. A polite smiling welcome from the manager(?) owner(?) ushered me into a pleasantly furnished modern restaurant with immaculately set tables. I chose from the specials board Chicken Zafrani on the bone, it was delicious! The choice was comprehensive with good vegetarian options also. The expected starter chutneys etc . with pompadoms were excellent. My taste buds had been excited! The Zafrani was cooked to perfection as was my accompanying rice. There is a well stocked bar but I had sparkling water, Perrier, the best! All for under a tenner.
