Having read the reviews of this restaurant I thought I'd give it a try last Saturday. The reviews were certainly accurate. Several items on the menu were different from the norm and a high percentage of the customers were Thai, always a good sign. All the food was delicious and the service good. I enjoyed it so much I'm going back again this Saturday!

I'm almost loathe to let people know about this hidden gem in case it changes. The food is fresh with amazing flavour and at an excellent price. The service and atmosphere (cleanliness, decor etc.) are very good and I am quite amazed that this place is not better known.

The BEST vermicelli seaweed soup around. The food is sensational with lots of vegetarian choices. We eat here nearly every week, sometimes twice a week. If properly advertised this place would be a full house each night.

We discovered this little gem 4/5 years ago. I use the word discovered as its not well advertised and marketed. We used to come here to have Thai food from Richmond, even though Richmond has some very good thai food restaurants. Now we have moved to Kingston and eat here every fornight.
This restuurant is small but has beautiful thai decor and the servers are very polite dressed in traditional thai clothes - makes one think one is being shown thai style hospitality.
Food is beautiful and authentic. Lot of good asian restaurants have westernised their food quite a bit to appeal to wider palette. Its not the case here - I would recommend one should expand their choice beyond the different thai curries on the menu that one generally orders in a thai restaurant. And you'd pleasantly surprised. Their Seafood Lemon grass stir fry is my favourite.
The price is very reasonable - and even cheaper if one is sharing with friends. I've yet to pay more than £17 in a party of 4 or more. This includes starters and 2-3 beers each.

Thai on Thames is a nice little Thai restaurant in Kingston. It's out of the way and not well advertised, which is a shame because it's obviously lacking in customers. We had a party of 10 booking last Tuesday. The food was excellent. I would definitely recommend it to others and return again.
