The place is dark, dingy and shabby. The drinks are served in glasses from the '70s just like the ones the petrol stations gave out free with coupons. It was empty on a Saturday night which should have given me a hint as to how bad it would be but felt it was inappropriate to say so to my friend, I had no choice but to stick it out. Food was served but felt uneasy as I couldn't even see it as the lighting is so dim. Some of the food was so hot and spicy, almost as though they had done it as a joke and they are dishes I regularly order in curry restaurants. Some of the food we couldn't eat. The toilets were revolting which I think is an indication of the cleanliness of the place/kitchens. Horrible atmosphere. Would definitely never go back even if free.

On first glance of this restaurant, I thought the front home owners door was an indication that it was closed. Once I had realised my mistake, I entered to a very dark and grumpy atmosphere with no customers on a Sunday night. However, the older gentleman seemed friendly but had seated a group of 4 of us in the tightest booth I had sat in and asked to, a request that I felt would have been an obvious answer, to move. However, this was not my only concern. Once I had ordered drinks, my waiter seemed upset that it was only soft drinks and quickly made an excuse that he would return for the drinks order.
Once we had ordered our food, we were given our table compliment of popperdoms whilst we waited. We were never being told this was charged, and never asked if we wanted it ordered, poor customer service.
However, my order took 45 minutes to come to our table and by this time I had filled up with cola, 45 mins is unacceptable in an empty restaurant.
The staff were miserable, the restaurant offers are on the take way menu and never mentioned at the time of ordering. The toilets are disgusting, small and were the lights are held up by brown tape. In addition, the bill is confusing, overpriced in comparison to the menu and any questions in regards are met with silence and disapproval. I was overcharged and never explained to why... overall it was not a pleasant visit.
Anyone visiting please look our for the letterbox leading into the kitchen from yet another front door.
Food was nice however, but after 45 mins a pack of cheese and onion crisp would have been nice too!!!

The older gentleman is very nice whilst the younger one has seemed quite miserable on two times that we ate there. The food is quite nice and the price is excellent.
Have your say
