Tasty authentic food. Good service. Good decor. Will surely go back soon. (Would love to have some fresh pitta bread on the menu next time though!)

My friend living in London recommended this place to me. I was visiting from San Francisco and thought the restaurant was a little out of the way. However, I went along and loved it. The kebab I had was wonderfully fresh and flavorful and the moussaka very tasty. The waiter/owner was charming and friendly. I definitely will go out of my way from central London for this not really too long tube ride to eat at this little gem

I am visiting The Meze Bar almost every week, it is my favourite restaurant. Their food is absolutely delicious, it is home made and therefore always fresh and nice decorated. All the staff is very kind and professional, the quality of service and food is very high and the prices are reasonable. Me and my friends celebrate our birthdays there and it is always full of fun and memorable.
I recommend The Meze Bar to everyone, you will go back there again for sure!

Our most visited restaurant. Fantastic, fresh food, both delicious and plentiful. Amazing value, especially the meat and fish mezes; the food just keeps on coming. Drink prices are very reasonable. Very busy on Friday and Saturday, so book well in advance.

If you have any intentions to visit this restaurant please, dont! In fact, if possible, avoid like the plague. I tried this restaurant out tonight for my mother’s birthday. I had booked the table a week ago and found I really didn’t need to, it was empty. We were a group and as the restaurant is called “The Meze Bar” we thought we’d have the set menu which consists of various mezes, both hot and cold, followed by a mixed grill or fish course. We ordered 1 set menu which was £18 and would come with a mixed grill and one fish set menu at £21. The set menu informs you it is a minimum 2 person requirement but as I discovered at the end of the night they charge you per person, which means an £18 set menu becomes £36 and a £21 one becomes £42. This would be ok maybe, if the quantity of food you were receiving per person seemed to equal the £18 or £21 charge but it really isn’t. I have been to other meze places where the set menu is charged one price for two people as it is a requirement of minimum two people. This is my major issue. For the price I had to pay for this evening, the service was extremely poor, the atmosphere of the place extremely dull and the food in question satisfactory at best. The place is in Southgate so you’re not even in the heart of the city where everything is understandably expensive. The night was a massive let down and a massive dent in my pocket as well. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE AVOID IF YOU DON’T WANT TO BE RIPPED OFF!

We live near the 'Meze Bar' and visit frequently to eat in or take-away. The food is simple typical Turkish fayre; well cooked and presented and fairly priced.

We usually have family parties here. On one occasion, a Saturday night, our child was ill and we had to cancel our booking at the very last minute. The manager was happy to prepare a take-away mixed meze at extremely short notice for twenty-five people.

Staff at the 'Meze Bar' are always professional and friendly. The restaurant is simple and clean. I thoroughly recommend a visit!
