I have used this restaurant a number of timees & have recommended to several people. The food is excellent. I find I no longer like to have an ordinary indian takeaway as no-one has matched the standard & flavour of Raw Spice food. I find the staff very friendly & the service good.

DECENT FOOD, POOR SERVICE
Went for Lunch as a group of around 12 people, including a 2 year old toddler. We asked for an empty glass for the toddler and were refused since the toddler was going to eat!!! Had a few more issues with service and the manager wasn't interested.

I went to Raw Spice with a friend and I was surprised at the lovely friendly atmosphere. The food was just delicious and wholesome and for £5 with a drink (glass of wine/beer) was most welcoming. We even got a free bottled water. The place was buzzing on a Tuesday evening and it was a very nice evening for us 4 indeed.

My wife and I went to Raw Spice 2 weeks ago and had a lovely meal. The started were a prtion of Chili Mushrooms. This was really nicely done and did not have too much oil. As a main course, we had a Saag paneer and Kolapuri Daal. The saag panner was really nicely done, not too spicy and you could taste the saag and the panner. The Daal was supposed to be spicy and it was. All in all, a nice meal. The waiter in the bar area are competent and friendly. However, those in the function room are a bit green behind their ears and could use some training. But, if you want some good food, then this is a nice place, especially if you want to catch up with a movie at Staples Corner later. Note that the food is not that cheap, but the portions are very generous, so if you want variety, then you can always ask for the leftovers to be packed up for a nice snack the next day!

First of all the restaurant is not that welcoming. The waiters are fairly rude. The food is bland and too much food colouring. They also do not serve tap water so there has always been arguments. The owner himself said that they have an argument with customers every week but they have not changed their policy. the daal was watery and tasteless and just had garlic and oil floating on the top. I would definately not go there again or recommend that anyone go there. This restaurant would get 0 *'s out of 5
