Trattoria Verdi Restaurant

I went to Trattoria Verdi regularly while in London last week, because it has the most attractive and homely ambiance of any of the restaurants near my hotel. The food is of the finest quality and the service has been top notch. Hats off Trattoria Verdi!

We celebrated our wedding anniversary here last week. My husband made the right choice. The waitresses were friendly and discreet, the fish and seafood, fresh and flaky. The pianist played our favourite melodies, apparently by coincidence, and it all went down well with a bottle of Pinot Grigio. Definitely an occasion to remember!

My family of 15 and myself have been looking to eat at a traditional Italian restaurant and thought it would be impossible to find a table for 16 on a Saturday night in central London. When we came across Trattoria Verdi we were welcomed in a very friendly way and it was no problem to seat all of us even though the restaurant was full up. They offered us one of there private dining rooms downstairs which provided us with a private bar and stereo. Anywhere else they usually charge you extra. The food was beautiful and very tasty and so was the wine. The home made desserts was just as good as the dinner it self and my children loved the chocolate mouse. Many thanks to the wonderful staff of Trattoria Verdi and for making our stay in London memorable. We will be back very soon !!!

I was there last Saturday August 30,2008 Ive ordered alfredo fettucini and there was HUMAN HAIR on my food digusting .No apology from the staff. Very poor.

I HAVE USED VERDI WHEN I HAVE BEEN IN LONDON DURING THE PAST 18 MONTHS. I HAVE FOUND IT TO BE A WONDERFUL PLACE TO EAT. THE MENU, FOOD AND WINE HAS ALWAYS BEEN EXCELLENT (PARTICULARLY THE GRILLED DOVER SOLE), THE STAFF EXTREMELY EFFICIENT AND VERY WELCOMING. THEY SHOW A GOOD ATTITUDE TOWARD CUSTOMERS AND ARE SKILLED IN THEIR KNOWLEDGE OF THE MENU AND WINE LIST. I PARTICULARY ENJOY THE RELAXED ATMOSPHERE GENERATED BY THE ATTENTION TO DETAIL AND MUST COMPLIMENT THE PROPRIETOR FOR THIS. IT IS ALSO A GREAT BONUS TO HAVE LIVE PIANO MUSIC MOST NIGHTS. THE PIANIST PLAYS A WIDE VARIETY OF MUSIC IN A UNOBTRUSIVE WAY. I WOULD ENCOURAGE ANYONE IN THIS AREA OF LONDON TO VISIT THE SPLENDID ESTABLISHMENT.
