I have been to this place 3 or 4 times. Each time I decide that I will give it another chance but it never fails to dissapoint. The staff are unfriendly and the food is always cold. The most dissapointing chinese buffet I

I go to angeles restaurant regularly and I love it, I as well went to China in Chengdu and was looking for restaurants in London who would serve the authentic Sichuan food, I didn't have the problem of not getting the proper Sichuan menu and got served the same food as the Chinese customers.
Maybe they changed and realised that westeners too can enjoy real Chinese food.
(my favorite dishes are the dry fried kenya beans and the fish in hot and spicy soup)
Also make sure you are at the right side of the restaurant.
(they serve the boring buffet on the left side, the good food is on the right)

Having just been to China and enjoyed some genuine Sichuan cuisine, we came to Angeles expecting something great… The trouble was that there were two menus: one for “westerners” (i.e. us) and one for Chinese people. When we asked about the difference between the two menus, we were told that ours was simply a translation of the Chinese one – never mind the fact that we couldn’t find a single dish on our menu that matched anything that anyone else in the restaurant was eating. When our food turned up – surprise, surprise – it was the usual western “Chinese” fare – boring, boring, boring. We won’t be going back (unless we have a real craving for hotpot and can’t find anywhere else in London that does one) – and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone else unless you’re brave enough to ask for the Chinese menu and a translation of every item on it. What a shame…
