Eat and bake to fight racism

We love eating for a good cause

Where: London Bakers Against Racism

After the murder of George Floyd in the summer of 2020, a group of enterprising bakers in Washington DC formed Bakers Against Racism, to host virtual bake sales in support of Black communities and to protest systemic racial injustice. Soon a group of London bakers followed, forming London Bakers Against Racism to fundraise on behalf of organisations that work to bring about racial equality.

Members include Yatu's Bakery and Indian confectioners Biskut Bar, but home bakers are welcome to host their own bake sale, with the London Bakers providing helpful tips for baking, selling and promotion.
