Southall has traditionally been regarded as the capital’s ‘Little India’, but north west London also boasts Wembley’s Ealing Road, a bustling shopping street. As well as shops selling jewellery, household goods, fabrics, saris and beauty products, there are well-priced restaurants that are ideal if you like vegetarian, South Asian and African food.
