Where: Garden Centres
During this year's first period of lockdown garden centres had to close along with all other non-essential shops, but there's good news for gardeners this time round as they're allowed to stay open. If you're anything like us, you might have been enjoying visits to your local garden centre when Kew Gardens seemed too far to trek to for years before Covid arrived on the scene.
Many are lovely places to wander round shrubbery and learning about exotic plants. We're partial to Camden Garden Centre because of its large tree-filled outside space, collection of cacti and the fact that it's a social enterprise that hires people who are long term unemployed.
