If you love the zoo then what could be better than getting up close and personal with the animals? And we don’t mean surreptitiously petting the squirrel monkeys when no one’s looking, but actually trying your hand at feeding and mucking out the animals for a day. You’ll be part of a small group of fellow zookeepers so you won’t be alone, and you can expect to help out with big cats, giraffes, meerkats and lemurs. It’s £170 for the day, including lunch and refreshments. Image © London Zoo Junior keeper for a day
