After finding a long lost Alice in Wonderland character-covered chessboard illustrated by John Tenniel – illustrator of the original Lewis Carroll book – antiquarian book dealer Jake Fior decided he simply had to open a shop dedicated to all things Alice in Wonderland.
In his shop in Cecil Court’s rare book Mecca, you’ll find both the weird and the wonderful of Lewis Carroll memorabilia, including a replica of that famous chessboard – yours for just £3,500. As if that weren’t peculiar enough, you’ll also find Harley the rabbit in his own intricate burrow on display in the window. Magic.
