Where: Ziferblat – 388 Old Street, Shoreditch, London EC1V 9LT
We’ve had pitch-black restaurants, pay what you like bars, The View from The Shard (not sure why we’re adding that but it’s just so expensive that it seems like a surreal experience) and now we have London’s first pay-per-minute café.
At Ziferblat, you are entering an IRL social network experience and everything in the Old Street space is free. The only catch is that on entering the building you will be charged 5p per minute for being there. So go in, stay a while and enjoy the talks and group activities or grab a coffee and some toast and get out. It’s all up to you, which is the genius of this Russian based chain of creative cafes.
Filled with great looking retro and vintage fittings, this is a smart idea in more ways than one…
Pay-per-minute for your coffee and cake
Everything's free! ... but it costs you... eh?!
