Follow your ears

Open your ears in London... you may be surprised...

Where: The London Ear walk from St. Paul’s Cathedral to Liverpool Street station, Dotmaker Tours

How would you describe London? Busy, over-crowded and noisy? But how often do you actually stop and listen to the city? That’s precisely the aim of the London Ear Walk, which takes you on a tour of the financial district.

You’ll be treated to the sounds of not only busy City workers marching to and from Liverpool Street station, but to church bells, birdsong and the echoes of back alleys, with the purpose of attuning your ears to things you wouldn’t normally notice and learning how the capital’s sonic landscape has changed over time.
