Where: Sew Over It
This sewing school and café offers sewing classes for beginners as well as the more advanced, including pattern cutting, knitting and quilting. The shops are furnished with up-cycled goods mostly bought and reupholstered by the owner herself, and there’s a 1940s soundtrack playing in the background.
If you don’ fancy attending a class you can also work on your own project in the café, which is equipped with sewing machines, pattern masters and other essential tools. The café serves homemade cakes (try the courgette ones!) and coffee.
And if you needed further recommendation, our very own fashion blogger Laurel Waldron is one of the teachers.
