After Pharmacy there was Parmacy2

Where: Pharmacy2, Newport Street Gallery, SE11 6AJ

Back in the 90s the enfant terrible of British art Damien Hirst (of the cow in formaldehyde fame) set up his Pharmacy restaurant. After becoming a favourite of celebrities and the scene of many a debauched night, it closed after much infamy in 2003. Now Hirst has decided to give it another go with the acclaimed Mark Hix in charge of the food. It's open at his Newport Street Gallery in Vauxhall, serving food throughout the day canteen-style for gallery visitors, and at night as a proper restaurant once the exhibition space is closed.
