Weekend brekky usually means one of two things: a hangover-busting fry up with a dozen salty bacon rashers, or a posh brunch with eggs Benedict and bellinis. Why not try something a little different?
Murakami put western twists on Japanese classics, and they've just started a bargain offer of four dishes from their main menu for just £28, with an extra tenner for unlimited fizz. On our visit we went for the tuna pizza, an innovative take on the junk food classic with fresh fish on a soft tortilla with truffle butter and yuzu, a salmon sushi roll that replaces nori seaweed with rice paper and the rice with salad leaves, citrusy tuna sushi topped with rice crispies and sweet maple sauce, and a whole chicken breast with tasty Japanese-style pesto sauce. Beats an omelette with builder's tea any day in our humble opinion.
