Quick question, has anyone else noticed that crazy golf seems to have left its traditional seaside town homes and descended on London in a stealth attack that’s left a city addicted? Course you have, you’re as eagle-eyed and clued up as we are. The latest on our radar is Plonk Golf in Dalston, an experience that offers “Flower powered, fun-packed, crazy golf action”… at Efes Snooker Club.
Open Tuesday-Sunday from 5pm to 12am, the price is £7.50 a round. And if you think that’s steep, then ask yourself this, ‘can I drink cocktails while playing crazy golf on, say, Hastings seafront?’ No, you can’t – and a Blue WKD is not a cocktail.
Plonk Golf also has courses in Hackney’s Victoria Park and Brixton’s Duke of Edinburgh.
