Peckham has been undergoing a cultural boom for a while now, with its club nights, restaurants and art happenings. Its transformation to foodie mecca became complete when a husband and wife duo set up a micro-brewery in SE15 to distill not craft beer, or London's newest fave spirit gin, but craft sake. Kanpai remains the only distillery of its kind in the UK and produces three varieties including a summery, sparkling sake with "crisp clean citrus" notes. You'll find their range in shops, restaurants and bars all over town, including Selfridges and Japanese eatery Nanban in Brixton.
