This must try is connected to: London Sewing Machine Museum

If you're fascinated by old school sewing machines you've probably heard about this south London museum, and if not, you'll want to get down there to admire the 700 varieties on display, some of which have huge historical significance. There is one that was gifted to Queen Victoria's eldest daughter as a wedding present, another, believed to have belonged to the inventor of the sewing machine himself, was purchased by the museum for £50,000.

Plan your visit in advance, as the venue is only open for three hours on the first Saturday of the month.
