The Java Tree Café in King's Cross is showcasing an on-going exhibition of paintings by Bernard Rangel. His stunningly unique style draws you into a journey of colour and perception. The work carries the name of ‘Contemporary Tribal Surrealism’ a new genre in the Art World that has a solid foundation and explanation.
Bernard’s art is deeply introspective, floating and lyrical. There is strong coherence between his personality and spiritual ideology.
Born in Aden, educated in India, and Ireland, Bernard has travelled extensively. Most recently he moved from Brazil to make London his home. In the coming months, the vibrant Java Tree Café will witness a rotation of his most striking paintings.
