London Stories - A 1-on-1-on-1 Festival

Over 8 million people share our city - a blur of lives we’ll never know. We rush past each other on the street, queue together in the supermarket and sit side by side on the tube. We may never have exchanged a word before, but now we are all here, waiting to tell you our stories.

As the sun sets on Battersea Arts Centre we invite you to explore a warren of candle-lit rooms and encounter real-life stories told by the people who lived them. Each story, from the moving to the bizarre or comical, will be told to an audience of just two. You will share every experience 1-on-1-on-1 with the storyteller and an audience member you may never have met before.

Inspired by the success of the 1-on-1 Festival in 2010 & 2011, London Stories takes this unique experience in a new direction. Through a public call-out, we have curated a festival of true stories from Londoners of all backgrounds, blurring the boundaries between real life and theatre.

Immerse yourself in the passions, struggles and joys of Londoners in an evening of truly intimate encounters.
