Stepney Farmers' Market is London's only Farmers' Market located in a real working farm.

Positioned between the City and Canary Wharf; Stepney City Farm is a charming little oasis where you can find, watch, pet and feed goats, sheep, geese, chickens, cows, quails, owls and more.

Every Saturday from 10:00 till 15:00 over twenty local traders offer fresh, organically made produce from the surrounding countryside. Stalls change to provide variety for our customers but you’ll usually find a wide range of vegetables, fruit, bread, cheeses, meat, cakes, eggs, preserves, oils and juices. As well as taking ingredients home to the kitchen, stallholders offer freshly-cooked meals and snacks using local produce to enjoy here.

The farm is run as a charity and serves as a hub for the community, with workshops, events and now the market guaranteeing a perfect day out for all ages! Much of the work is done by volunteers, and all proceeds from the café, and the meat and produce they and the market sell, go back into the farm to ensure it’s sustainable.

If you ache for a little glimpse of the good life, have young children, can influence your Corporate community volunteer thingy, or just fancy one of the more unusual urban experiences London has to offer, I heartily recommend a visit.

Goats, coffee and brownies. What more could you want?
