Stax Revue EP launch party

Stax Revue are releasing their debut EP and celebrating with a sumptuous night of funk, soul and rock & roll at Queen of Hoxton in Shoreditch.

Based in Shoreditch, Stax Revue are London's hottest live band right now. With their own inimitable blend of Southern Soul and British rock & roll, the band have built up a reputation for delivering electric live performances and introducing audiences to finger lickin', heel clickin', down and dirty soul.

The band has recently had airplay on BBC London 94.9FM, Cofi Radio and DIY Radio, as well as coverage in several print and online music publications. Their debut EP is a hook-laden collection of tracks recorded at Empire Studios in May 2013, and provides the perfect introduction to a band that is determined to haul guitar music back into the limelight.
