This December the talented team behind Mile High, The Great Indian Peninsula Railway and Rumble At The Deli will be organising the ultimate office Christmas party experience for fun-loving groups big and small – immersive, irreverent and uniquely Shuttlecock Inc.
Journeying back in time to the King’s Cross headquarters of the fictional Bolingbroke Franking Machines Ltd, 1989, guests will join the company’s staff of eccentric employees - hair crimped to within an inch of its life and novelty ties at the ready - for an unforgettable evening of drinks, dinner and dancing. There will even be some explicit photocopying thrown in for good measure.
Stepping out of the cold via an unassuming entrance, revellers will find themselves in the midst of a staggeringly retro Christmas party, the office’s 80s décor of filing cabinets, potted plants and Acorn computers decked out in spray-on snow and plastic holly sprigs for the occasion.
Following a welcome Cinzano & Lemonde and some big news from Chief Executive, Henry Bolingbroke, party-goers can look forward to P45 pass-the-parcel, snake bites in the IT annex with the inimitable ThunderLizard and buzzword-inspired ice sculpting.
Dinner will be prepared by Shuttlecock Inc’s very own Ollie Templeton, back from the future and the kitchens of Moro, and will include refined winter warmers such as cured duck breast with rhubarb butter and watercress, chicken broth with saffron and crispy morcilla, braised beef shin with cannellini beans, chard and salsa verde and chocolate and raspberry terrine.
Flirting at the water-cooler and what-happens-at-the-Christmas-party-stays-at-the-Christmas-party dancing will round off the evening. Anything goes but whatever you do, just make sure Sue from accounts doesn’t trap you underneath the mistletoe…
Shuttlecock Inc. are four cousins from the creative Templeton family: Anna, Ollie, Will and Ed who share a wealth of experience from the event, theatre, culinary, cocktail, music and advertising worlds. This year has been their busiest yet, with a string of sell out events including immersive pop-up dining experiences, Mile High, Vieux-Québec and The Great Indian Peninsula Railway. Following their upcoming collaboration with Tom Conran, Rumble At The Deli, they plan to take their unique travel-themed concepts abroad in early 2014.
Places are limited so please contact firstname.lastname@example.org or call 07766 201 568 to secure your spot.
