"BELLA MIA" simply translates as "My beauty" which is a generic term of endearment in Italy.

Hunto was born in Brindisi, South Italy in 1982. He developed a love for the art world at very early age.

He became known as a graffiti artist in 1996 under the name "Hunto", exploring different periods, characters and painting styles. In his search he became inspired by the works of Picasso and Braque. Cubism became the style that he was well known for around the streets in his native country.

In 2004, Hunto moved to Rome to develop his art career beginning with an illustrative project working on a popular Italian book "Bibenda L'agenda del vino" published in 2006.

His first exhibition was held in his home town of Brindisi at the "AleAndrew Show" 2006 along with other international graffiti writers. Since then, Hunto started bringing his style from the streets into canvas producing different works while always maintaining his graffiti roots.

In 2008 one of his most challenging commissions was to paint a mural at the Rebibbia Prison in Rome along with other well known graffiti writers. Later the same year, Hunto moved to London continuing his distinctive style of art through solo shows and collaborations with various artist. His works are in different cities across Europe, and he has recently performed two live paint sessions at the Blue Balls Festival in Lucerne Switzerland.

This exhibition marks a transition in his career as an artist as he attempts to work in different mediums such as oil and acrylic.
