From Friday 15th November until Sunday 15th December, The Broadwalk Centre in Edgware will be holding a very special Christmas Present Appeal and are asking local residents and shoppers to purchase an extra present this Christmas to donate to the children at Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice.
Shoppers are asked to wrap their gift and add a tag highlighting whether their present is for a boy or girl. All tags should also mention the suitable age group for the present and can include a personal message for a child at the hospice.
The drop off point for all presents is outside Costa Coffee in the specially design Christmas post box.
Noah's Ark is an expanding children's hospice service, seeking to serve an estimated 900 life-limited or life-threatened children or young people, and their families, living within the communities of Barnet, Camden, Enfield, Haringey and Islington.
Their aim is to support these families, often by working in partnership with other agencies, delivering flexible services that encompass the whole family - enabling them to live positive lives and face the future with hope, following the death of their child. These services range from practical and emotional support, ultimately through to end-of-life and bereavement care.
