Candelit Christmas Shopping Evening

Petersham Nurseries invites you to rekindle some old fashioned Christmas spirit and join them for their annual evenings of candlelit shopping and carol singing this December during which they showcase their beautiful Christmas stock.

Find festive gift inspiration, handmade wreaths, Christmas trees, gift wrapping, hampers, a unique, eclectic and beautiful collection of Christmas decorations, as well as delicious mince pies, roasted chestnuts and mulled wine.

Each shopping evening features both a choir performing carols and a local accordion trio from 6.30pm to 8.30pm.

This year we are delighted to debut two local choirs. On Wednesday 4th December we will be joined by the wonderful Thameside Harmony Chorus, a barber shop choir who will sing a catalogue of traditional Christmas songs in a four-part acapella harmony. On Wednesday 11th December under the direction of their conductor Julian Collings, a small group from Barnes Choir will sing a selection of traditional and new Christmas carols with style, energy and enthusiasm.

Doors open at 6.00pm. This is a free event, where all are welcome!

Sensible footwear, and to wrap up warm recommended. Parking will be limited on the evening, available on a first-come basis. Petersham Nurseries encourages you to travel via public transport, foot or bicycle where possible.
