Create Lampshades With The Indytute

Elizabeth Cake will be showing you how to make a hand-embroidered drum lampshade. The pattern will be ready for you (see our photograph) and is of a log cabin set in a wood. If you like to go off piste and create your own pattern - an elk say - which would be lovely, but you might have to add it a bit later. Hand stitching and make a 20cm drum lampshade, which you will be able to take away with you. In fact, if your fingers haven’t been speedy enough you may need to finish the stitching at home!
