Started by guitarist-composer Greg Sanders, London based soul/jazz/world ensemble Teotima brings together a diverse array of talented young musicians from the London music scene. An intrinsically live project, all the individual band members are key to the project and their improvisation is a central part of the music. Mixing cinematic composition with Afro-Cuban and Afro-Brazillian influences, adding the deceptively complex grooves of West Africa, Cuba and Brazil and applying the sensibility of classic American soul and funk, Teotima will have you on your feet in no time.
