Is making a stand against indifference. We're a three-piece London-based, psychedelic, independently-minded rock band trying to combine the best of freethinking and cynical, twisted, acid humour relevant to whatever you want to call this decade.

With an ethos reminiscent of the Kinks, Acid Joke sing a mixture of tuneful, raw and bittersweet songs about day-to-day living, loving and electrical resistance. Hear their songs about the telescoping towers of global corporate and political excess told from mouse-eye-level and realise your shared pain with a funky backbeat.

Spawned from the ashes of a band that imploded trying to write the most complicated songs known to man, the two heads that are GagReflex decided that they needed a new MO. Enter a new approach - brave, obtuse, defiant, yet simpler, and more fun - bass and drums - that's all you need, right? GR thought so and got cracking on that basis.
